How to Drink Absinthe
1. Traditional Method
- Pour a shot of Absinthe into a glass
- Place an Absinthe spoon on the glass and set a sugar cube on the spoon
- Slowly drip four to six parts of iced water onto the sugar melting the sugar into the absinthe
- Stir and drink
2. Czech Method:
- Pour a shot of Absinthe into a glass
- Dip a teaspoon of sugar in the absinthe so that it absorbs it
- Set the sugar cube on an Absinthe spoon and place it on the glass
- Set the sugar cube on fire and allow all the caramelized sugar to flow into the glass.
- Pour the water into the glass, stir and enjoy!
